Quick Start Guide
Welcome to Buckets! Here's how to get started in 5 simple steps.
Please note that the app is currently paused until we fully migrate to Buckets V2!
Create Your Account
Sign up using either:
your email or social login, creating a secure wallet in the process
your existing wallet (Metamask, Rabby, Coinbase wallet, etc...)
If you used an email, you will be prompted to confirm it by entering the code sent to your mailbox.
Congrats, you just created an account! 🥳
Setup Your Wallet
When logging in for the first time, you need to choose your username (you can always change it later):
Enter the username and click next. The next page allows you to create a wallet.
This is a self-custodial wallet, meaning you have full control over your assets. But with great power comes great responsibilities. For more information, read our guide on self-custodial wallets.
Start the wallet creation process by clicking on "Create wallet".
Great, that's complete! Simple, right? Now, let's secure your wallet with a passkey. Passkeys provide a secure login alternative, removing the need for passwords or seed phrases. Major tech companies support them, allowing sign-ins using biometrics like fingerprints, facial recognition, or a PIN.
Clicking "Start passkey creation" will send a verification code to your email. Enter this code in the box and validate.
Boom! 💥 You're ready to go. Your wallet is created and you can start validating transactions in a breeze.
Fund your wallet
You can add funds to your account with two methods:
Send digital assets to your public address
Add funds from your bank or credit card using our onramp partner, Mt Pelerin, a well-established Swiss company 🇨ðŸ‡.
